A few weeks after releasing Icebreaker we began work on tracks for the new album that would eventually become After Us. It took more than 14 long months to complete - and now that it is out there it marks the beginning of a new era for Longterm. We've gone a long way making this album, setting a whole new bar for the quality and style of our music.

After Us

Several years in the process, Source was created along with many tracks that are yet to be completed. This time, collaborating on an EP was a lot more difficult for us, because of plenty of other work sitting on our backs (some of you might know about Altfuture's progress in the gaming industry meanwhile with Switchcars and Derail Valley). Still, we brought this EP to completion and hope you'll find it satisfying enough after the long gap, as we continue working on other tracks.

During the last few years, Michal was heavily influenced by various synthwave/retro electronic producers and tracks, so you can expect some synth work to be shaped in that direction. Overall style though is, as you are used to in the case of Longterm, a distinctive mix of ambient and electronic genres.
