Well, it’s been so long since you made it clear: I had to look in the mirror to face my inner fears and it wasn’t easy to realize just what I’ve become. A  fractured soul. I seem to have lost all control. Run, before you see the demon I’ve become. And just walk away, just walk away and run, before you can’t turn  back and it goes wrong. For I’m losing control. I tried to collect the shattered pieces, fit them all back into place. But I cut myself on the sharp ends, while picking up the broken remains. Blood is dripping from my bands, it refuses to  clot. I’ve lost all sense, but I won’t stop, I’ll fight it off. All the wrong we go  through is stacked in the waiting room. It’s bound to find its way out,  manifested in a cloud of hatefulness, but I’ll progress and I’ll never surrender my soul. I will strife to break my fall, regain control.

Pop punk / punk rock band Long Way Down delivers the goods on their third record 'Empty Hearts & Get-Well Cards', bringing seven heart-wrenching and energetic songs that leave you wanting more.

Formed in Groningen in 2006, they immediately started to gain a following in The Netherlands as well as abroad, thanks to their hyper-kinetic live performances. With their third release Long Way Down’s fan base is about to grow even stronger. Long Way Down? Short Way Up might have been a better name!
