Producers are the backbone of any label; developing supportive and genuine relationships with our artists is the core principle of TOR's development. Our 'Amis' series is an ode to the figures that we feel are at the foundation of the label's journey thus far.

To kick off the Amis series on TOR, there was truly only one man for the job. Wassu will always hold a special mantle at the TOR imprint, as the man who inaugurated the label with his Andu EP in 2020. Since then, the New Yorker has turned heads with a string of prolific releases on the likes of Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, and When We Dip XYZ. With each passing project, Wassu's mastery of warm melodies and boastful basslines deepens, showcasing the ever-evolving sound of the wizardly Wassu.

It's safe to say that Wassu has outdone himself on this one, welcoming a widespread community of producers into the fold. He grabbed the baton & ran with it, sourcing a bounty of material for the debut of Amis. More than anything, this collection of music represents the fact that Wassu is a man of the people; one of the most important characters in the deep & melodic scene. He brings together artists from all corners for our debut Amis project - longtime collaborators, new faces, inspirational acts, studio partners, and burgeoning partnerships all align on Wassu's Amis.

Lonya heads up the Asymmetric Recordings label and is one of house music's most consistent DJs and
producers. He's released with the likes of Stil Vor Talent and Sudbeat and collaborates here with Berlin-based
Los Cabra who lands on the same labels and draws on his Latin roots to cook up melodically introspective
sounds in the world of tech, Afro and deep house. Bremen-born singer, DJ and musician Marvin Jam completes
the trio and is an in-demand vocalist who plays all over the world.
Between them they hit upon a magical deep house vibe with the magnificent 'All Things Come To An End'. It has
seductively warm and cuddly beats and rolling bass with deft synths and organic percussion up top. The
sensuous vocals bring the soul and plenty of intimate late-night feels.
This is classy cut that exhibits exquisite house craft.

Bohem made a beautiful organic but electronic oriented track called Ego with an amazing percussive driving groove. Constant progression with underlying pad and a kalimba melody and a mesmerising vocal. Perfect for the summer time this track gives you the perfect opener for your organic or afro set. 

For Ego Bodaishin made an epic remix with a more upbeat groove and focusing on the beautiful vocal, very beautiful progression with strings and weaving in the kalimba melody as underlying repetitive sequence. 

Furthermore you find a great radio edit of 'Bodaishin' on this EP and last but not least and epic track called 'Occitania' crafted by Bohem. 

'Occitania' is a deep grooving organic track with a multitude of percussive elements and a revolving string melody. Groovy bassline and Vox Fx drive the track forward. Perfect track for your local beach sessions.

Greg Ochman made his debut on Sebastian Leger’s Lost Miracle imprint with "Delylah & Blonde Nuits" which was very well received by both his fans and contemporaries. His style can be described as organic house and the special quality is that he combines sounds and genres that would not be found in one and the same track by any other artist. As he said in an interview with Progressive Astronaut: "there is always that unexpected moment i hit a great chord progression or a melody that puts a smile on my face, then I can say it’s a journey into my personal universe." His remix is just about showing that diversity in a progression which this time ended up in a fantastic lighthearted and positive 90ies club track: A track that through the twists brings a lot of joy to the dance-floors.
