A house mix inspired by the long summers in Ibiza. A housey vibe to start off with, rolling through to a slightly more techy sound, with a remix of a classic and an anthem at the end thrown in for good measure!!!

A hour-long progressive tech-house mix which is due to be broadcast on the internet radio station Kick106 later in the year. I've tried to showcase the main styles of tracks that I like to play whilst trying to make it fairly accessible, progressing from the slightly funk-tinged 'Movin' to the more driving 'The Little Things' and finishing on some big-room styles (with a few well known tracks thrown in for good radio-friendly measure!!). Loobdup - OgreType Vol 9

I started DJing in 1995, I can be found at around 127BPM and travel with Tech/Progressive/Electro and Deep House music, adaptable for both bar's and clubs, vinyl and CD's. Building up a record collection of Progressive house and Trance from labels such as Perfecto (inc Fluro), Distinctive, Manifesto, Bedrock and Platipus. During these years I played at various venues including the Hanbury Ballrooms in Brighton and The Firestation in Bournemouth.

Through early 2003-4, my music style changed to a more soulfull and funky style of house and while holding a residency at Bar Plasma in Essex, I also DJ'd many London bars including Revolution, Ember, Light and Play.

I was a semi-finalist in the Turnmills DJ competition held at the club in London and also had some success with the BPM/Honeyclub DJ competition at the Tzar bar in Brighton. I have also been awarded runner up in both the DJ Magazine Pick ’n‘ Mix and iDJ magazine Raw Talent.

After a brief Hiatus from DJing, I have embraced CD decks and a new love of dance music, and my first mix of 2008 (OgreType Vol.1) made the DJ Magazine 'Pick n Mix' readers mixes (June 2008), and more recently a runner up in the iDJ magazine Raw Talent DJ category.
