An independent record label, and a registered trademark in the State of Montana, Magik City Music Group is a hip hop music group which features a male and female duet for the labels main act. The two lead vocalist, Looie and Chalce-donae have been performing together since around 2010, with countless show and hours put into their craft." The group has an amazing DJ to provide the back bone and support necessary to be a successful hip hop group, DJ Nextyear, who's taste and knowledge of music continually inspires the group. Together the group has performed along side many great names such as Nappy Roots, Andre Nikatina, Deuce Formerly Hollywood Undead, Jel, Serengeti, and many more. The group in 2013 added another MC to the group, J Mad. The group's very first single "Light It Up" http://youtu.be/wcun5evq4ZY was written by Looie and Chalce-donae. Montana, Colorado, and New Mexico, were the first states to harbor and shape the group's style and views. Later Washington, California, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and so many more states will have become like second homes and sources of inspiration... From the East Coast to the West Coast we are the Magik City. The act is always putting out more material and more singles so always be on the lookout. We are a "Music Group" because we invite all and any musician or singer.We are a collection of independent, freelance artists. We invite players of instruments, singers as well as hip hop emcees. We also include in our group, editors, photographers, videographers, sound engineers and any one who can contribute to the dedicated fight for individuality and music. Hip Hop is a blend of all musical genres, and talents, and so we embody that.
