Our 97th podcast, and number two of the Summer Series, will be provided by the Portuguese artist CRAVO. As one of the founding members of the notorious Hayes Collective, CRAVO made quite the name for himself in the recent year with a couple of outstanding releases. Both his solo release, “Eternal Paradox EP” on Setaoc Mass’ SK_Eleven, and his co-created “Klockworks 32”, which he released together with his good friend VIL on Ben Klock’s label of the same name, shows the craft with which CRAVO shapes his tracks.

For FrenzyPodcast 097, CRAVO created a one hour mix in which he presses the pedal and does not let go. Some heavy hitting techno alternating with his signature groove, and some futuristic elements in between, characterize the sound which he expresses in this mix. @abs8lute  is a French music activist and passionate digger. As a groove lover, she enjoys driving her public into exciting techno storms with hypnotic atmospheres and percussive rhythms. Outside of the DJ booth, she works for a better representation of women, POC and queer people in the industry by giving DJing classes to minorites, animating talks and debates on inclusion, and by creating the Vénus Club, a collective of women DJs that recently took by surprise the French electronic scene. Her unique take on rhythm led her to appear several time at Berlin’s notorious Berghain with renowned artists such as MARRØN, Dasha Rush, DVS1, Ben Klock, Fadi Mohem and many more.

Brooklyn-based BRÄLLE is a creative force forged in both fear and necessity. Before making their debut on the techno scene with 2017’s Dream State, BRÄLLE spent nearly a decade immersed in the relentless world of underground Death Metal and Hardcore—composing albums and touring globally. Stepping away from that realm did little to extinguish the drive to craft visceral and emotionally charged music. Out of this transition, BRÄLLE was born.

This rich history lends the producer a distinct vantage point on the global electronic music landscape, existing far beyond the confines of fleeting trends and insular cliques. With releases on labels such as Soma, Mindtrip, Evilgroove, and his own imprint, Adversarial Machines, BRÄLLE’s sound is a swarming fusion of the psychedelic and the modern.

He has released on labels like: Soma,  Sungate, Animal Farm, BAHN, Innsignn, Newrhythmic Recs, ISSXII, Immaterial Archives ,TMM, Suara, among others...

“For me, DJing is not just about discovering the music you want to deliver. It’s also about having knowledge of music genre, history and understanding the structure of sounds, which are what truly define a DJ.”

Gianmarco is also a co-founder and resident of Polyritmica.

His sets take listeners on an immersive journey through raw, deep, and driving hypnotic techno. With constant layering and skilful blending the best of both old-school and new-school elements, he crafts a distinctive sound that strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation.
