The versatile producer, songwriter, and composer Raz Ohara is gearing up to release a new single, ‘Ignited’, on June 27th, 2025 via House Of Frequency. ‘Ignited’ is the second track off Raz Ohara’s forthcoming album, Memories of Tomorrow; a body of work built on layers of vintage analogue synths and rich, time-warped textures. With over 30 million streams across platforms, his forthcoming album release, and a summer Residency at Babel (Ibiza) on the horizon, the second half of 2025 is looking bright for Raz Ohara.
Based in Berlin, Germany, Raz Ohara is a boundary-pushing musician known for his distinctive, genre-fluid sound and a career that spans decades and scenes. With a voice that defies easy categorisation, Ohara has released a diverse body of work under his own name as well as through acclaimed projects including The Odd Orchestra and Feathered Sun. His collaborations include artists such as Apparat, Chilly Gonzales, Luomo, Acid Pauli, and Oliver Doerell. Drawing from a wide array of influences from Nina Simone to ambient music, Raz Ohara’s unique sound is sure to ensnare fans of Moderat, Bonobo, and Connan Mockasin.
‘Ignited’ is buoyant, hopeful, and dreamy. The track’s backbone is a steady bassline meandering around hypnotic organic percussion. Arpeggiated leads flutter in and out of the groove as the textures are added and removed like tiny sonic Jenga blocks, gently rising and undulating in intensity. Raz’s vocals ring - smokey yet reverberant - across the mix, impassioned and resilient. 

Raz Ohara shared: “This song is about not losing the trust in ourselves. Every challenge or lesson we need to conquer throughout life is only as hard and difficult as each individual is able to take and solve it. We are perfectly equipped for it - we need to remember and rely on this - also you need to find the right practices that can help you to stay present, healthy, and strong.”

Sanoi unveils his latest single, ‘It Might Take Some Time’, taken from the forthcoming album Augenblick. Built around a playful synth motif, the track is textural, melodic, unhurried.
Unfolding patiently, it layers delicate melodies over a gentle percussive groove before introducing a warm, grounding bassline as momentum builds. Reminiscent of early Bonobo and Four Tet, this is late-night headphone music that also carries weight on a proper system.
With ‘It Might Take Some Time’, Sanoi continues to refine his melodic sensibility, drawing on his house and techno roots while embracing a more reflective, downtempo palette. The result is both meditative and kinetic, adding another distinctive chapter to his genre-blurring catalogue.

With records out on Mesh, Ostgut Ton, Different, Messrs Kick & Drum, SceneUnseen and his own label, Making Friends, Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm) has been making headway with his solo project in the electronic music scene. As the founding member and main song writer of Vessels (Cuckundoo, BIAS/Leaf, Different/PIAS) he has been DJ’ing and performing live for over two decades.

A Brief Utopia (A project by Jinjé) A Brief Utopia was born from an EP released earlier this year by Jinjé (aka, Lee J Malcolm from Vessels) on Scene Unseen. Stepping away from his usual production duties and focusing more on his passion for live drumming and percussion instruments. This was the starting block for much of the composition on the this record. He quickly realised that this would be a brilliant thing to do live and reached out to fellow musicians Danny Templeman (Submotion Orchestra, Gentleman’s DubClub) and Nathan Moseley (Fwar, Brolin) to put together a high energy show aimed at clubs and festivals alike.A Brief Utopia brings a colourful, vibrant and visually engaging experience. Drawing on a love of music from around the world focused through a lens of live drumming, tuned percussion and psychedelic synth work.

Wellington-based producer Zuke returns with a new rework from his acclaimed debut album Come Closer (Dec 2024), a fresh take on the album’s downtempo gem ‘How We Met’, remixed alongside long-time collaborator Dylan C.

Where the original drifted with haunting Rhodes chords and a deep, meditative atmosphere, the Dylan C & Zuke Remix drives the track towards the dancefloor. Lifting the tempo, the duo reshape it into a hypnotic organic house groover, with inspired elements of acid house & dub echoes.

This marks the first official release for Dylan C & Zuke , a pairing well-known for their hybrid live/DJ performances across New Zealand festivals and club shows over the past six years. The remix captures the essence of those sets: deep, melodic, and immersive, yet always underpinned by energy and movement.
