Label boss Schtu returns to Casomat with 'The Magician EP', a four-track release showcasing a slightly more nuanced side to his production style - one which he has previously only flirted with. Broken beats, stripped-back basslines, and even a track where, in his own words, "nothing much happens". For the Berlin-based producer and DJ, it’s a step into largely uncharted territory. Still, even though the EP demonstrates diversity in terms of mood and aesthetic, it still retains the melodic sensibilities and sharp arrangements that have become synonymous with Schtu's productions.

So, what to expect? Well, if each of the tracks had to have their own defining role in a kind of Spice Girls-esque arrangement, we'd probably assign them the following; LSD - the clubby one; The Magician - the deep one; Serendipity - the driving one; and Dopamine - the not-four-to-the-floor one.

We are thrilled to announce the new release from Max TenRom, a long-time friend and collaborator and for the first time, delivering a full solo EP on Cosmovision. Titled Phoenix, this body of work explores themes of rebirth, transformation, and emotional depth. As Max describes it: Ive always been drawn to the symbol of the phoenix. The idea of rebirth appears often in my music, the melancholic undertone, the beauty in sadness, the emotional resonance. About : river return to Bespoke Musik after a brilliant radio show mix earlier this year with a four-song suite that folds living-room intimacy into widescreen motion. What begins as a whisper opens onto a horizon of warm analog textures and patient, dance-literate grooves. The Estonian father-and-son duo, Oleg and Ervin, trade phrases across a 24-year bridge, letting melody lead and rhythm arrive when the story needs to move. It’s electronic music with a pulse you can feel and a tenderness you don’t often hear—cinematic, human, and quietly hopeful, triumphant.

The new EP reads like a short film in four scenes. Piano sketches become themes, clarinet replies become memories, and the synths color everything with tape-warm glow. About : river’s gift is how they keep the arrangements breathable: small details carry real weight; space does the talking as much as the drums. Each track begins close to the skin and then widens, turning private moments into shared momentum—music for the room you’re in and the night you’re heading toward.

This is storytelling you can dance to. The duo’s acoustic threads—clarinet, piano—anchor the heart; their analog machines pull the horizon closer. Between them, the songs chart a path from reflection to release, stitching nostalgia to forward motion. Four cuts, one feeling: hope that lingers after the lights go low.

coss, a prolific live act, DJ, and label founder behind Metanoia, Mimoton, and Betonstrand, has built a reputation for fusing hypnotic grooves with storytelling and introspection. Zettka, a fellow Berlin artist and member of the Betonstrand collective, is known for his cinematic sound and Turkish-inspired melodic touch, creating music that bridges cultures while staying rooted in the club’s pulse.

"They Left Traces" unfolds across four tracks, blending ethereal textures with dynamic rhythm. Berlin-based duo Thea & Schtu present Mond, their debut EP on Heimlich Musik. Known for their captivating live sets across European festivals, the pair translate the energy of their performances into two original tracks that balance deep grooves, playful melodies, and hypnotic atmospheres.

The title track Mond glides through lush pads and shimmering synth textures, carried by a warm, rolling bassline that invites both movement and introspection. Köln follows with a slightly darker edge, layering percussive details and drifting chords into a steady, late-night journey.

The remix contributions round off the EP with three distinct reinterpretations. Just Emma infuse the track with an organic, groove-laden warmth that subtly flirts with psychedelia.
