In 2022 the popular collaborations between Fixon and Gene Richards Jr began, who from day one discovered that they had found a kind of mystical magic that sheltered this project together. Perhaps due to the areas in which Mexico and Tel Aviv are each located.

After their first release 'Groove Philosophy' [Be As One] the desire to continue collaborating continued thanks to the great support and good reception so a first appearance in ANAØH occurred in our latest edition of 'Hate & Tenderness' something to think that it was no more that the preamble to what was coming.

This is how Family Traditions arrived, this new release from the duo creator of the Groove Philosophy

5 original tracks loaded with groove, power, freshness and a mix between classic, current and futuristic sounds that we are sure will resonate again on dance floors around the planet. It is clear that they have taken care of even the smallest detail, looking for functional and pleasant tracks for those who listen to them.

We are happy to present this material that, as always in this series of cassettes, is made up of 2 sides, thus seeking to find the contrast that characterizes ANAØH.

So on the B side we have artists that we love and deeply admire for what they have done and continue to do in the industry, young faces like ANNĒ or Confidential Recipe, joined by the wonderful INSOLATE, Ritzi Lee and the legend DJ T1000.
Each of their works have captivated us, making us feel covered by their love and talent, for which we are grateful, we value and love them enormously.

We hope this release is as special for you as it is for the entire team that has made it possible!

I asked him if he can provide a live mix cause i find them more interesting.
A live recording is always more energetic and I think that's how you can listen to what a dj can truly do and see the amount of skills that an artist possess. 
He thankfully said yes and what you are about to listen is the first part from his recent set in Cialo club located in Wroclaw, Poland.
As he said to me, he is playing lots of old school tracks with a good amount of unreleased stuff combined together to treat us with 1+ hour of mind-blowing music that is a perfect fit for the vision i have for the Renegade project.

this mix wasn't supposed to be. i didn't know what i wanted to do but all i knew was i wanted to play music and to soothe my soul. however, the mix caught the attention of don wong and it was enough to make me want to share this with more people.

mood while recording this mix was melodramatic and at the end of recording, it felt so good to be able to lose myself through music and also able to share.

loopinmotion is Kelvin Tan. Born in Singapore, he was schooled by the warehouse rave scene of Melbourne and is influenced by the sounds and philosophy of Detroit Techno.

Never confining himself to simply being a DJ, Kelvin Tan is a weighted player in the industry. Before returning to Singapore, he worked under then Gasp Entertainment and now The Richard Maher Agency, behind the legendary Innovator series in Melbourne, Australia. This agency was the driving force in exposing cutting edge electronic performances to the Australian-Asian region. Now infamous in promoting and representing leading names in the worldwide electronic music arena, the agency is synonymous with names such as Derrick May, Dave Angel, Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen, Tom Middleton, among many others.
After setting his footprints in Melbourne, he moved back to his hometown. Now a true veteran of Singapore’s dance scene, loopinmotion has been actively involved in putting on parties since the very beginning. Joining the very respected Jonathan Yeo in his new company after his 10 years residency in Zouk, Kelvin was integral to the 2 days dance music festival, Sentosa NYE 2001, with 2 equally impressive tents featuring top internationals, John Digweed (UK), Kosheen Sound System Live (UK), Christian Smith (UK), Stacey Pullen (US), Tasaka (JP) and Technasia’s Charles Siegling (FR) and top local jocks, Jonathan Yeo, Ramesh, Case Woo, The Bushmen amongst a host of other names.

Moving on to managing now defunct Kinemat with its director, Donovan Wong, Kinemat is touted to be one of Singapore’s edgiest youth activation, engagement &amp; guerrilla marketing agency ever. During this period, Singapore was introduced to benchmark dance music series: Techno series, Techkroniq with Tresor’s Pacou (GER), DJ Bone (Detroit) and local Techno advocates; or festivals, En Route I &amp; II with Aqua Bassino (UK), Funkstorung (Ger), Darren Price (UK), 4 Heroes (UK), Bad Boys Batucada (Aus/Bra), Currently one of the head honchos of Singapore only underground club for the past 5 years, Kelvin is not about to let up in his effort to make a contribution to shaping Singapore’s local music scene.
A multidisciplinary DJ, loopinmotion has had more than adequate experience working behind the scenes in every aspect of dance music event management and currently holding a residency at Home Club Singapore. A no-nonsense approach to putting tracks down to the floor, loopinmotion will churn out tracks with both speed and composition. Relentless, uplifting and introspective, he brings both rhythm and strings for both your feet and mind.
