Gimme A Break Records presents Donsurf’s ‘BREAKWAVE EP’ featuring three expertly crafted productions. Donsurf took the scene by storm through his widely received debut release on ec2a in collaboration with Bakey. Following this, Donsurf has continued to deliver experimental breakbeat and UK garage compositions as seen through single releases on Gimme A Break and Kultura Collective. In his ‘BREAKWAVE EP’ Donsurf divulges the breadth of his musical influences some of which include dubstep, breakbeat and jungle. The deliberately smooth transitions between tracks makes for a seamless journey through UK bass culture, grounded fundamentally through Donsurf’s intricate manipulation and sculpting of classic breaks with a personal twist.
