Avenia is the debut collaborative EP between the mysterious spiritual collective 'Isabel del Bosco' and ambient electronic music producer Cristián García Laborde AKA 'Koiwa'. 
On this sparse, warm and contemplative release, both parts bring the best from each of their worlds to create a succession of soft & melancholic melodies, ambient dreamscapes and drone-ish beat-driven hypnotic tracks. A lot of variety packed in four compositions that allow for multiple replays.

A cover/remake of one of my favorite songs of all time. I made this as an inquiry into themes associated with my root chakra. I envisioned an empty desert at night, with me under a tree with bare branches. This image has accompanied me throughout my adolescence quite a lot, always as some sort of imaginary save haven, even though it feels like a place of great solitude. I hold a certain sense of melancholy and solitude very close to my heart, even though I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, there is something in those states that is incredibly dear to me. Maybe it is because in this image - alone under a tree in a desert, endless horizons, the sky always waxing and waning between twighlight and night - there is a quality of peace, and absence of hostility and danger, that enables a part of me to be and unfold itself.
At the same time - this is where the double-edged-sword-likeness of the situation lies - I'm alone. I'm by myself. There is no one around. I - the part of myself in that imagination - perceive other people as a threat. Still I long for company.
But I need to be here - this is heaven, even though it hurts.
This song is that place, that feeling, that part of me, made audible. This is what helps me connect to silence when I'm in the need of solitude. This helps me to accept that part of me, so it too may find true peace and love one day. This is what aids me in transforming the loneliness and sadness I hold. Or in relating differently to the loneliness and sadness I hold.
I sincerely hope and wish, for those of you who can relate, that this song can offer something of similar importance.
Maybe we are together in solitude.

TR088 - Nakul Krishnamurthy - Ten Thousand Dancing Shivas

https://soundcloud.com/vitogatto is a composer, violinist and sound explorer based in Milan.
Graduated in Violin from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan in 2009, his research starts from the unconventional application of classical background, both in studio and live performing.
After several collaborations with rock and experimental artists of Italian and International scene (among others Einstürzende Neubauten and Blonde Redhead), he discovers the world of electronic experimentation, and  its endless possibility to enhance the acoustic instruments features and concrete sounds, increasing their humanity by exploiting micro variations coming from uniqueness of each single recorded execution.
Influenced by ambient, techno, minimal and contemporary classical music, his work aims to find a hybrid shape through the symbiosis between human expression and electronic elaboration.
After releasing his last album Evolve in 2020, his contemporary research is focused on conflicting sonic themes, spiritual attitude vs hardcore and distorted sound treatment for first, or complex patterns based on a single audio sample, like strings recordings, released or unreleased tracks, field recordings, and concrete sounds.

When i first listened to "Fur Alina" by Arvo Part.
It radically changed my vision of classical composition, and the use of sound in general. From that moment I understood the importance of silence, both in life and in musical research.
