Eine Leipziger DJ, die mit ihrem hypnotischen, fokussierten Sound längst über die Grenzen ihrer Heimatstadt hinaus bekannt geworden ist. Während sie in Leipzig eng mit der lokalen Szene rund um das inzwischen geschlossene, aber legendäre Institut für Zukunft und die Neue Welle verbunden ist, hat sie auch auf renommierten Bühnen wie ://about:blank, Tresor und Berghain gespielt.

Als Gründerin des Focus: Podcast und Mitglied des Nebula-Kollektivs prägt sie eine ästhetische Handschrift, die zwischen trippiger Tiefe, dunkler Energie und minimal-grooviger Leichtigkeit oszilliert. Ihr Anspruch ist es, Sets mit klarer Dramaturgie zu gestalten, die das Publikum auf eine Reise mitnehmen – mit einem roten Faden, der von den ersten bis zu den letzten Klängen durchgezogen ist.

Besondere Aufmerksamkeit erregte ihr legendäres Closing im Tresor, bei dem sie trotz Nervosität und angeschlagener Gesundheit die Nacht bis in den Mittag hinein prägte. Die Intensität dieser Erfahrung und die enge Verbundenheit zu ihrem Umfeld unterstreichen, wie sehr V:SONNTAG Musik nicht nur als Performance, sondern als kollektives Erlebnis versteht.

Ihre „geheime Waffe“ ist die sorgfältige Vorbereitung: Jedes Set wird von ihr akribisch durchdacht, um den Flow bewusst zu formen und die Energie im Raum Schritt für Schritt zu steigern. Dabei kombiniert sie gerne dunkle, hypnotische Klänge mit melodischen Elementen, die im Verlauf für überraschende Wendungen sorgen.

A Leipzig-based DJ, V:SONNTAG has long made a name for herself beyond the borders of her hometown with her hypnotic and focused sound. While deeply connected to the local scene surrounding the now-closed but legendary Institut für Zukunft and Neue Welle, she has also performed at renowned venues such as ://about:blank, Tresor, and Berghain.

As the founder of the Focus: Podcast and a member of the Nebula collective, she shapes an aesthetic signature that oscillates between trippy depth, dark energy, and minimal, groovy lightness. Her ambition is to create sets with a clear dramaturgy that take the audience on a journey – with a red thread running from the very first to the very last sound.

Her legendary Tresor closing gained particular attention, where despite nervousness and feeling unwell, she shaped the night until well into the following day. The intensity of this experience and her close connection to those around her highlight how much V:SONNTAG understands music not only as performance, but as a collective experience.

Her “secret weapon” is meticulous preparation: every set is carefully thought out to deliberately shape the flow and gradually build up the energy in the room. In doing so, she loves to combine dark, hypnotic sounds with melodic elements that create surprising twists along the way.
