In the subterranean of Brooklyn’s techno landscape, The Black Hole has always upheld the original spirit of rave culture: come as you are and let go of any intolerances through the music. As raves have temporarily become a thing of the past, The Black Hole celebrates four years of
sonic enlightenment in a virtual dimension—but ALKHEMY, made up of Co-founders Xiorro and Adrestia and Producer Buzzi, is no stranger to the digital presence. While showcasing hard, experimental techno through their label and mix series Whirlwind Trax, the collective lives by an inclusive ethos. Their diverse artist selections and thoughtful conversations in media outlets carry the activist roots of techno forward…in a time where it is needed more than ever. 

As an homage to one of the most beloved raves in New York, 4 Years of The Black Hole: Interdimensional Troopers not only features heavyweights who played the event in the past, but also artists who have collaborated on the Whirlwind mix series and those who share a linked sonic vision. 

Known for being a catalyst for New York introductions, in-person or virtually, ALKHEMY continues this practice, featuring some new faces to the Brooklyn scene as well. The VA brings fresh, bold sounds to New York and America with artist origins spanning across the US, Europe, and South America.

Created in July 2003 and eventually released on 12" vinyl record in 2004 via Distorted Records 003.

On the vinyl record's label on the A-side the track is simply stated as HardtraX - "Böse", even though this is not quite precise. 

The track became a quite well-known classic back in the days and even when I played this track at the beginning of my set in Bogotá/Colombia on my second South America tour in 2009, people instantly recognised the melody and its German vocals and everybody in the place went totally bonkers within seconds. Wow!!!
