An experiment. This entire track (bar the pulse) is extrapolated from the single 35 sec guitar sample (the arpeggiated Emaj7 -> Cm#7add9 you hear at the end) using Ableton warp, delays, pitch shifts, ring mod, etc. No synths per se, but a lot of interpolation.

It all gets a bit tense somewhere around the mid-3 minute mark, but bear with it.

While grabbing that old Moeker demo off the MacBook I came across a file named "Test Run, Live Set 25th Sept 2008" which appears to contain a complete from the desk mix of a Looptron live set. So... this is how Smile sounded live in 2008.

It's all one take. That mistake at the beginning used to happen about one time in three - I got quite good at fading out the synth loop and resetting it. :-)
