A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

Almost a year after they unveiled their collaboration with the wall of sound that was the ‘Spiker’ 12” Perc & Truss return to their home on the Perc Trax Ltd label to serve up a fresh four track EP of live analogue jams. Once again the tracks were recorded in one take. All mistakes, happy accidents and bizarre unexplainable audio artefacts have been kept in place, with no post-production or further editing done once the first take was recorded. These tracks cover more ground than the three on Spiker, but the Perc & Truss collaboration is no experimental vanity project, with all four new tracks aiming straight at the dancefloor.
Title track and opener ‘Two Hundred’ leads the way with caustic acid providing the foundation for a classic London cabbie-rant vocal, whilst ‘Judd’ layers all manner of malfunctioning effect pedal sounds over a triplet rhythm track. 

On the b-side ‘Forever Your Girl’, a mainstay of Perc’s sets for months now, leads the charge, as rave interludes provide a breather from the kind of kick drum volley made for Awakening’s Gashouder home. Finally ‘Van Der Valk’ mixes hardcore stabs over an icy electro-tinged groove and crowd samples stretching the Perc & Truss sound further than ever before.

The 7th release on Bond is the second release in Petter B´s series called “Roots”. On the A-side you find a “Roots Pt. II” with a big yet simple hoover lead. Its simple structure together with its powerful breakdown and tons of dirt makes it a great weapon in a DJs arsenal. On the flip side there are two tracks, the outer one is called “First Wave”. The track has a powerful low end and a rhythmic and minimalistic hook. It builds up almost like a wave and plunges down into a break and begins its journey one more time. The inner track on the b-side is a percussive monster. Its hook is made up of dubbed out percussive elements. After listening to it in a dark room for to long you can almost hear the tre drums starting to talk to you.

It has since been road tested by an elite force of the world's leading Techno DJs including Len Faki, Blawan, Adam Beyer, Dave Clarke and Carl Cox and has since crossed over into the box of fellow Glaswegian Jackmaster.

Consistently changing his sound as new equipment and techniques are utilised in his studio the album mixes up the type of 5am club rippers he is known for with an exploration of more spacious and atmospheric tracks.

About the EP:
With some incredible releases in the past we couldn't simply let this Amsterdam duo hanging. Their original sound which made tracks like 'Rasza - Vega' immensely popular is found back in the Sanity Decrease EP. Another duo; Blackmont; Rotterdam based Emiel Zwart and Najel Monteiro, made their first appearance on OBSCUUR Records with a pounding remix of one of the Schuw tracks. OBSCUUR resident Marla Singer was once again given the opportunity to remix one of the other EP tracks, resulting in a perfect mix as well.

After the success of the broad and powerful second LP Alone In Time?, Ø [Phase] continues his ongoing connection to Token with the Submerged Metropolitan EP.

The title track enters with Burchett’s own brand of unease; the lead is tense and discordant, moving over a bumpy, rolling kick. Brushing off-beat hats rush overhead and play delicately with this unease above the thunder. A vague spoken word sample adds texture and contributes to the cerebral edge.

Ethereal swells and intense rhythmic play introduce Fallen Columns, which delves into atonality with keys that add a controlled recklessness to the composition.

This Absent Mind takes on a hypnotic, dubby form with a confidence that belies its complexity. A sublime breakdown introduces the heavier second half of the track, which enters impressively and batters on to the end.

Florian Meindl's third artist album "Time Illusion" marked another big milestone in
his career. These last 12 months have seen him tour his live show, where he has
showcased his flair for live performance with some heavy equipment including his
Eurorack Modular System.
To remix Time Illusion Florian has chosen three artists that he admires for their
unique take on techno music. Lucy, responsible for the curation of the highly
respected Stroboscopic Artefacts imprint, Sigha renowned for his modular system
performances and productions on Token and Blueprint and up and coming
Netherlands duo TWR72 who have been continuing to put out fresh and gamechanging
releases on their label Float Records.
The Lucy remix spans on a whole A side with 45 rotations per minute and opens a
window in a yet unknown dimension of expanding effect drones which takes the
listener on an extraordinary trip of its own. He took the opportunity to weave the
breakbeat from the original composition into a straight-clocked rhythm while
giving the harmonic content a new unheard surreal depth. This track has got the
potential to suck the dancers minds into a strange journey and yet keep them on the
steady rhythm.
Sigha's interpretation of "Frame Of Mind" manages to be heavy and soft at the
same time with industrial noise movements and mystic synth sequences emerging
and disappearing. The beauty in this masterpiece lies in the balance between the
sweet harmonic content and the pounding beat construction, which keeps moving
and modulating until the very end.
TWR72 deliver a perfectly working and grooving DJ weapon, which is highly
playable in all sorts of situations. They perfectly manage to incorporate the key
elements from the original into their very own signature sound. The eclectic
alternation between a suspense-packed part and a pure forward going beat
section makes this tune outstanding and joyful to put on the turntable again and
again.

Oscar Mulero’s own Warm Up label goes 50 releases old and to celebrate, there is an special release planned: A double remixes vinyl pack as well as an extended digital release including the four previously only vinyl available Pattern Series.

The remix pack will have revisions of the original Oscar’s works by the likes of: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo and Chevel. Each one getting the essence of the originals but adding their very personal touch to the pack. As a result all kinds of techno flavors are represented, from the harsh and rude to the liquid and floaty.

Swedish pioneer Cari Lekebusch is at the helm and a relentless release schedule continues to keep him on top, where his music is no stranger to imprints such as Luke Slater’s Mote-Evolver, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, The Advent’s Kombination Research or Hans Bouffmyhre’s Sleaze.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the leading track “Full Spectrum 1” that is executed with perfection. An uncompromising rolling groove and insistent energy make this an instant dancefloor destroyer.
