Inspired by the pollution on Cornish beaches, respectfully set to the music of Heroes by David Bowie.

Heroes (against pretty pink bottles)

"I, I wish I could swim,
Through the bobbing, plastic,marine litter and tin.
Find a pristine beach, free from pollution and glass.
Surfers against sewage, cleaning up, a 'jaw dropping' task.
Recycled litter, won't dissolve in the seas, here to last.

We see dolphins ingest netting and bags,
Wildlife stomachs poisoned by plastic and rags.
Consider how the world sends its waste far away.
Its returning, there are pretty pink bottles today.
Cornish shorelines reflecting worldwide decay.

We should be Heroes, not just for one day.
We can be heroes, for ever and ever.
Tackle pollution, for ever and ever.

Doing nothing, solves nothing, it won't go away
But we can beat this, for ever and ever
