Carloh makes his long-awaited return to Hot Creations as he releases his ‘Quisiera Tenerte’ EP. The Ecuadorian talent returns to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ imprint six years on from his label debut with two bubbling house numbers, set for release on 28th June 2024. 

Carloh has risen through the ranks of Ecuador’s electronic music scene with standout releases on Revival New York, Solid Grooves Raw, and SB Recordings over recent years. Receiving praise from heavyweights like Michael Bibi, Loco Dice, and Wade, he has become a firm favourite with clubbers thanks to his vibrant, Latin-infused sets. Marking his return to Hot Creations following his kicking ‘Sound Pump’ EP in 2018 and his three-track ‘Ritmo Rico’ EP on sister label Hottrax, he now presents ‘Quisiera Tenerta’ - showcasing the soulful rhythms of his South American roots.
 
“Quisiera Tenerte’ and ‘Samba Mambo’ are inspired by Latin music. As someone originally from Ecuador, the musical concept fuses the Spanish music I carry in my veins while transporting listeners to the past, to the era when house music was created with samplers and drum machine loops. With these tracks, I bring you the Latin flavour while refreshing the idea and methods of old-school sampling in house music.” - Carloh 

‘Quisiera Tenerte’ is a magnetic dancefloor filler, pulsing with a lively groove and dripped in resonant basslines, groove-led percussion, and vocals that draw you in. Up next is the modular jam of ‘Samba Mambo’, with its menacing chopped vocals, glitchy textures and weighty low-ends shaping up the package.

Souler decks December dancefloors with three tinsel-trimmed house tracks, topping another tremendous, groove-filled 12 months for Clarisse. Betting on a bass-buttered groove that can't miss, Souler starts his mission with the rattle of ‘Meu Amor’: an electric samba smoothly skimming across the club with its spell-casting Latin vox and focused key stabs both lifting crowds and providing club comforts. 
 
Souler then repeats the performance with the style and strength of ‘Jungle Lights’ setting off a similar bassline swing, aiming a slightly bigger boot club-wards compared to the tiptoeing finesse of ‘Meu Amor’. Helped by the spicy, ghetto chick vocals giving a face full of attitude, it breaks down the beats to basics on the surface, but is definitely, defiantly one to hold onto until the lights come on. 
 
Wishing everyone a happy new year, funky finale ‘The Night’ gets into it alongside Madrid compatriot, the real deal known as Red Effects: a vocal, processed soul, bass stepper with percussion popping off like corks counting down, this one's ready to reach the sky like it’s 11.59pm and ready to bring in another year of Clarisse domination.

Since its inception in 1997, Loose Club has channeled their tireless passion for music into spreading #electronic music culture and bringing freedom and creativity to artists and other professionals within the scene. 

Starting with a select handful of local talented artists and producers, including the likes of Rino Cerrone, Markantonio, Marco Carola, Gaetano Parisio, and Uto Karem, Loose Club quickly gained recognition and respect early on for the growth it brought to the Neapolitan #techno scene.

Their efforts were soon recognized by international artists such as Ellen Allien, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Sven Vath, and Cisco Ferreira, just to name a few of the stars who found Loose Club to be the best #club night in town.

With the record labels ri’l:is, unri’li:s, and Loose Records under their umbrella, Loose Club has since gained traction not only as a pioneer within the techno genre, but a wellspring of resources for professionals of all kinds working within the industry.
