Kelpe's Drut Recordings present 'Antimeta’, the second EP from Devon-based, London-born producer T Goldsmith. Whereas his first release was half a decade in the making, this one popped out quickly over a few months. Compared to the smorgasbord of tracks on his debut ‘Dropouts’, the new EP is more tightly focussed, yet still rudely playful, combining classic jungle / drum and bass textures and tempos with penetrating basslines and floating ambient textures.

A former analogue obsessive and member of medieval psych folk band Circulus, Goldsmith continues to take retro futurism to its logical conclusion using strictly pre-internet technology in a studio setup that could easily have existed around the turn of the millennium. ‘Antimeta’ comes from an exciting time in the recent past of a parallel universe. We hope the EP marks the start of a hyper-productive period.

Join us on a journey through space and time with the debut album of Jeremiah Soft, now returning to Dalmata Daniel. He made the album between November 2021 and June 2022, a time during which he got closer to nature, long walks, and existing in forests in general. Through 9 tracks and 60 minutes, we can wander around atmospheric universes, walk up the hills and down the paths of the mind of the artist.

Throughout the whole album, a dichotomy is created by the soft, acoustic sounding melodies and the quick, abruptly changing, metallic drum patterns. Just like the wilderness, it becomes a balanced system of tranquil harmony and tense alertness.
Side B rushes into an 11 minute heavy-hitter, ‘PNW’, packed with action and amen break.

Tooflez returns with their latest serving, the "Bass Control’’ remix LP, exploring the different dimensions in the multi-faceted universe of ELECTRO.

The original cut was cooked up by label head-chef ANDI A. Once upon a lock-down, when humans had only machines for company… a Juno 1, an old Yamaha groove box, a glitchy noisy synthesizer and a cheap microphone transpired ‘Bass Control’ into space and time.

Never intended to be released, 3diz asked Andi A. for the stems one day, and the rest is h̴i̴s̴t̴o̴r̴y̴ the f u t u r e.

ANDI A. delivers the original on the A1. Timeless electro with a dystopian air 'to it, perfectly fit for building energy and suspense.

The first remix is from Indigo Plateaux, showcasing their distinctive sound, deconstructing the original to a peak-time technoizoid banger.

The Detroit Electro veteran, DJ Di’jital, delivers a bass-heavy, deep dive into the underground; proving once again why no one does it like Detroit does it.

On the B1. we have Viikatory dishing out saturated 808’s and snappy acid lines, spaced out arps and a distinctive echoing assurance.

3diz pushes the bass into a distorted weighty nastiness, leaving nobody immune to the infections ‘bass face’ syndrome.

And finally, the sophisticated production of Echowoman marries the spacey intergalactic sounds with warmer drum tones found on earth.

Where stars drench the sky in hues of infinity, amidst the chaotic waves of supernovas, Sleem Gleam emerges from the abyss to debut a fusion of electronic rhythms and reverberated riffs that crash against the shores of reality.

Riding on a hot acid groove and descending into an electric whirlpool, “Lava Barrels at High Tide” is a stripped-back oceanside bop that epitomizes the swell. Up next, “Totally Pitted” hits maximum wetness with an iconic bass line and blazing flanged-out hats guaranteed to jostle a noggin.

On the flip side, the upbeat electro jam “Cosmic Rip Current” presents a hazard to beach-goers in the form of a thick and psychedelic stellar blip-swirl. Lobotomy Party sends it home at high speed with twacked-out vocal samples and surreal pulsating bass.

Sleem Gleam is the new surf-inspired alias of Minneapolis-based Kajunga co-founder Ry Johnson, aka Ryote. He has been making and releasing electronic music since 2007 and DJing since 2011.

Morphed industrial violence, tearjerking post-dubstep-trap and the ruthless title track bounce off the walls. Let's commence!

If you can judge an artist’s quality by the company they keep, then FaltyDL is up there with the best of them. The label history of the producer known to his friends as Drew Lustman reads like a “who’s who” of 21st century electronic music imprints - Ninja Tune, Unknown to the Unknown, Planet Mu, Studio Barnhus, the list goes on.

With In the Wake of Wolves, we can now add Central Processing Unit to this illustrious roster. The Sheffield label joins the party at a notable juncture - while FaltyDL has kept up an impressive clip of releases throughout his career, In the Wake of Wolves is both the NYC-based producer’s first LP for two years and his first full-length release away from his own Blueberry Records for almost a decade.

In the Wake of Wolves proves to be both a great match for CPU and also further evidence of the label’s burgeoning sonic palette. While CPU has built its reputation on top quality electro joints, recent releases have delivered adventurous electronica experiments (Proswell’s People Are Giving And Receiving Thanks At Incredible Speeds), hard-wired breakbeat techno (Baby T’s I Against I) and golden-age synth explorations (twenty-fifth anniversary reissues of Bochum Welt’s Desktop Robotics and Feelings on a Screen, both of which first emerged via the legendary Rephlex Records). In the Wake of Wolves takes things further still - this is a brilliantly genre-voracious record, one which marries the rhythmic cut-and-thrust that we have long known FaltyDL for with all manner of adventurous stylistic choices.

Those familiar with the FaltyDL experience will recognise the trademark blend of synthetic grit and harmonious softness in album opener ‘I Need You’. This could pass for Four Tet or even Hannah Diamond at points, the steady build of pulsing synths and looped vocals recalling a more mysterious version of the PC Music sound. ‘I Need You’ stands shoulder-to-shoulder with any of FaltyDL’s other great atmospheric album openers - no small feat given the competition. ‘Further’, the following number, is yin to ‘I Need You’s yang. This is a pulsating track which gleefully skitters between machine-funk, tubing darkside bass and breakcore-adjacent drum programming, all of which is peppered with some genuinely beautiful work in the higher synths.

Nandele is one of the most innovative beatmakers, producers and DJs coming from Mozambique. He is at the forefront of the alternative and experimental music scene with his mix of bass heavy boombap instrumentals, ambient, techno, ebm, dubstep, trap, psychedelic hip-hop beats and the makonde rhythms of Northern Mozambique. 

The son of the first black director of the Mozambican National Radio after the country's independence, this is where he gets his musical background listening in his early age to a vast musical catalogue raging from Michael Jackson to Fela Kuti, from Kanda Bongo Man to Santana and Marvin Gaye, which he incorporates it in his beat making.

A prolific producer and writer, Nandele has written music for contemporary dance performances, films and has a number of band projects including: Cantinho das Cores, The Mute Band (who won best new band at the Mozambican Music Awards in 2016) and Azagaia & Os Cortadores da Lenha. He has collaborated with artists such as Felix Laband (RSA), Dion Monti (CHF), Symbiz (DEU) and Boogz Brown (REU), African Ghost Valley(CAN).

He has graced stages at some of the biggest festivals in Southern Africa: Afropunk Johannesburg, MTN Bushfire Festival in Swaziland, Azgo Festival in Mozambique, Berlin Atonal, Kayamba Festival, Electropicales... His first E.P. Argolas Deliciosas and his first full-length album Likumbi was released through Mozambican independent label Kongoloti Records, he has released Eps/cassettes through label Inserttapes in Sweden (Blu Kidz), Already Dead Tapes and Records in Los Angeles (Plafonddeinst) and Cotch International in London (FF).

Nandele is also a member and founder of an audio-visual group Muave he is part of the Miss collective that recently released a multi-disciplinary performance called Degradação (Re)Generativa, he is part of international collective called Proximal Distal who had recently a residency and will release a publication and a vinyl.

Nandele has remixed tracks for Dubokaj meets Lee Scratch Perry project and Mothers of Mars, and as a producer for Tresor 30 compilation along with techno pioneers (Jeff Mills, Dj Stingray), established and upcoming artitsts around the world and he is part of artist roaster of Tresor Records as well. He has produced a jingle wich was a collaboration with ASAAS Collective from Palestine for Radio Alhara, where he is constantly collaborating and his live performances and mixes are broadcasted. He has produced for the Original Soundtrack for the comic book informais created by Anima Studio Criativo.

From deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere, to techno for the darker rooms.

That's a half decent attempt to describe this DJ within one set of brackets. Never afraid to take a chance on that oddball track that can make or break the moment on the dance floor, trying to live by the phrase "play what they need."

With love for the analogue and often gritty sounds from the acid house era, those mini-micro-minimalism tracks with that outstanding groove, those big techno monsters that will make you dream of concrete pillars, and those melodic garage-like tracks which could cure almost any clubber´s comedown, his sets can be both widespread and storytelling.

Releasing and DJ'ing as A:G and as one half of Uno Mas, he's been doing gigs from 1000+ events to the sweaty underground raves for 50 people; a few red lamps and a big sound system!
