With this second EP ever released and his second offering to the Electric Shapes' catalogue, Smogo dove deeper into the areas of the subconscient. With a blend of hard rhythms and dangerous sound designs, gathering both his love for Science-Fiction and organic textures, this new EP reflects more than anything his attraction towards ultramodern mental music, well reflecting the ongoing european enthusiasm for fast paced techno, buzzing soundscapes, ethereal harshnes, citing A Strange Wedding, Raär, Solma, Trois-Quarts Taxi System or Sole Massif as his source of influence. Flower B’s debut album, Locked-In, will be out on April 11th, 2025 on a super-limited edition cassette, featuring 8 industrial club tracks. Locked up like cells in a frame, when the comic strips become reality, we all dance together for a better holiday. 

Today, in particular, every phone call, browser bug or garden neon sign literally says a lot about the world we live in. How do you feel when roads change density? Could we find ourselves on a map? Manipulating waveforms and envelopes like a physio, disrupting social communication channels to offer a spectrum on which to dance, this is why we love so much the wobbly music of dark rooms in off-plan apartments, which sway you like stellar objects. 

Based in France, Flower B seeks to transform noise and frequencies into dark drums like strong words, syllables cooking in a microwave oven. Inspired by techno, bass, dubstep and ghetto music, the album is an ode to transformation. To be released this spring on Big Science Records in a super-limited edition. Pre order now!

This various artists compilation is the 10th release on Dürüm Records,  a celebration of french scene’s diversity, a unifying mix that draws links between scenes, cities, and sensibilities.

This genre-blending selection, that stays true to Dürüm Records’ adventurous identity, in which deep textures weave connections between each track, serves up a tasty mix of downtempo hybrids, progressive flights, club-oriented sounds, and broken rhythms.

Solid Steel (15th September) In Hour 1 we welcome Steffi ahead of the release of her new album 'World Of The Waking State', her third LP for Ostgut Ton.  The Dutch producer is based in Berlin and a resident at Panorama Bar, having compiled and mixed the 'Panorama Bar 05' mix CD in 2013. Running two record labels - Klakson, and her quickly expanding Dolly imprint - Steffi has developed a natural and professional balance between DJing and making records. Her productions continue to mature and shine, exploring many different aspects of House and Techno, with a distinctive clarity and classic approach. In her mix for Solid Steel it's a predominantly 90's selection with music from Biosphere, Electronic Eye, The Prunes, Push Button Objects and Boards of Canada. She had this to say about her mix;
"I have been praying solidly for every party or club to have an ambient and trip hop room, so many great tunes do not get to see the daylight otherwise"
