Unlighted is a DJ and Producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His love for electronic music comes through the influence of artists such as Julian Jeweil, Metodi Hristov, and Martin Kinrus. At the age of 12 he began to venture into the world of djing only using a computer. His musical style is characterized by finding minimalist and electric sounds together with Techno, fused with trance vibes and characteristics of Dubstep.

Justus Reim is from Germany, and gained experience in making music, after growing up with many musical influences like playing piano, guitar and the drums. He decided to start his techno project in 2019, after spending much time listening to techno and visiting clubs. Searching an own sound, his productions are now characterized by strong kicks, simple melodies and heavy saw basses.

Unlighted has released a remix with us last year, and now comes together with Justus Reim, for a banger EP. Enjoy.

Cosmic Boys welcome Sisko Electrofanatik and Lowshape to their record label Legend Audio.
The collaborative two track techno EP blends twisted euphoria with dark atmospherics and thundering percussion.
Both successful solo artists, this is the pair's first time collaborating on music, and their high-quality of their production instantly caught the attention of the Cosmic Boys.
Sisko Electrofanatik is an Italian artist who is well-known for his top-selling tracks on labels such as OFF Recordings, Codex, Fe Chrome, AnalyticTrail, Phobiq and We Are The Brave.
Lowshape also has roots in the Italian club scene, and has released numerous tracks on Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain Records. He has also featured on other labels including Orange Recordings, Reload and Funk'n Deep Black.
"Anthem of Light" opens the release with its rumbling sub-bass, explosive claps, and fizzing high-end percussion. The poignant melody of the pads contrast nicely with the driving energy of the groove to create an epic atmosphere with building suspense.
"Metaverse" is the more aggressive of the two tracks. It's driven by industrial edged percussion with dystopian atmospherics, which leads towards an epic breakdown where the tantalising synth line takes control, before the drums slam back in for an explosive finish.

Berlin-based Ignacio Arfeli is next up on VOLTA Records with a four track EP of synth heavy and moving techno. A percentage of this label's profits go to charities and causes chosen by the artists that are involved.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina and based in Berlin since 2019, Arfeli is a relative newcomer but with a mature sound that belies his age. His powerful sounds combine physical drums and heart-on-sleeve synth work and have come out on labels like Terminal M, We Are The Brave and Noir Music.

Opener 'Mo Machine' is twitchy future techno with unsettling synth pulses that keep you on edge. The laser-like synths and steely drums all work you into a state of hypnosis as the tension and texture builds to an intense peak. The superb 'Light And Darkness' is another melodic techno track with menacing drums and thunderous energy. A delicate vocal brings intense emotions around the physical groove then 'New Light' is another visceral and main room techno cut awash with cosmic melody. Lumpy drums and serene chords bring plenty of drama and last of all comes the terrific 'Talking to Whales.' This one has swirling, trance-like chords that will get hands in the air. An epic breakdown and chunky drum programming ensures maximum impact in the club.

We are very excited to welcome Axel back to Pornographic and things get ignited right from the beginning, with the title track’s sneaky bassline and locomotive rhythm section providing intense momentum, as the affair constantly builds to reach a climax of discordant synths.  Things take quite a different turn on “Blue Hole” with the mood toughening up thanks to the bubbling bass and infectious synth riff, which is, of course followed by an apocalyptic breakdown.

Italian label Loose Records was established by Mario Manganelli and Rino Cerrone (who also run Rilis and Unrilis) in 2006 as an outlet for inventive, underground techno with a fresh perspective. Rino himself has long been a bastion of the Neapolitan techno scene, whilst Mario, too, has been promoting nights, running clubs and unearthing techno talents ever since the 1990s. Together the pair has a great understanding and has managed to mix up established talents with bright new comers, making the label a go to place for fans of proper techno.
