Yuuta drops a two-track techno EP on Loose Records, which is powered by raw percussion and jackin' machine funk.

Hailing from Colombia, Yuuta is known for his upbeat style of hardgroove techno, which utilises fast-paced percussion, deep atmospherics, dramatic stabs, and hypnotic synth lines.

This is Yuuta's first time working with Loose Records, and he joins the imprint following music on other prestigious techno record labels ranging from Hertz's Sway to Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien.

"Hermès" opens the release with its rolling bassline, bursting horn stabs, and gritty congas. The release's title track, "El Cajonero," has Detroit style synth chords layered with hammering drums and bubbling atmospherics.

Italian label Loose Records was established by Mario Manganelli and Rino Cerrone (who also run Rilis and Unrilis) in 2006 as an outlet for inventive, underground techno with a fresh perspective. 
Rino himself has long been a bastion of the Neapolitan techno scene, whilst Mario, too, has been promoting nights, running clubs and unearthing techno talents ever since the 1990s. 
Together the pair has a great understanding and has managed to mix up established talents with bright new comers, making the label a go to place for fans of proper techno.  Releasing both club ready EPs and full length artist albums in vinyl and digital format.
