The 11th mix for the Groove Control series is an hour long journey of original, unreleased material from Rory McPike. And it's bloody amazing.

Rory (also known as Dan White, Rings Around Saturn, 2200, Pickleman and Turner Street Sounds) opted to release the mix under his given name as the content was reflective of the kind of work he produces when not aiming to create anything specifically directed at any one of his many alias's.

Rory's style is as expansive as the labels he has had work released on, from Butter Sessions, Forbidden Planet, Analogue Attic Recordings, Hidden Waves, Metaphysical Circuits, Rhythm Works (also run by himself), Normals Welcome, Cult Trip, Indole Records, Altered States, Detrimental Audio, Brokntoys and Noise In My Head.

Each release reminds me that he is capable of producing material that makes you second guess how well you know his style - and this mix is no different.
