It all started in 2014, in Setúbal, Portugal. Pedro Nobre and Diogo Costa, excited by the magic of instrumental environments from classical music all the way up to modern jazz, started to create songs together. Along the way, some friends joined the party helping the music to become a wonderful mix of various styles with even a bigger sound. From a strong rhythm section inspired by the grooves of Funk, Latin and Hip-Hop, to melodic and harmonic ideas from Jazz, Gospel and Soul, the band's sound culminate in several improvised moments that extend even more the creativity of each own musician. Loosense’s music is constantly changing and evolving, there are no boundaries to where it can go, the goal is always trying to create something unique and special, they say. It’s a journey, and hopefully a beautiful one.
