The Brighton-based producer and creative mastermind, @Caldera-caldera, lets us delve into his multi-faceted personality with his new EP, 5D Worlds. No VR set needed, Caldera follows the chant of the sirens and the shamanic incantations but never directly references them: a psychoactive journey without the psychedelics. Caldera’s 5D Worlds is a hyperreal ride, from his signature dubby grooves to his lesser known Tech-Trance whopper fantasies – As the BPM evolves, the sound designs morph and the gentle percussion give way to sonar-like synths and binary rhythms. Are you finally hearing the sirens ? Good, you have arrived at your destination.

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

Midgar affiliate Forest Drive West uses the opportunity to present not one but two remixes. Presenting one half-time 85 bpm twist of Hazard and another slow-paced murky techno groover. Originally from Montreal, Maara forms the Canadian connection and she turns Memory Palace into a beautiful bouncy dub-techno floater. Sound experimentalist Notte Infinita takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism. At last, Amsterdam’s upsammy brings back the light with her iconic playful approach. She flips the steady groove of Glass Shards into a jumpy interplay of rhythms and joy.

Cursed be "Furie"

An EP planned and finally cancelled in 2022 on the eve of the label's sudden retirement, “Furie” now proudly marks the first milestone in Lett Records' comeback, putting an end to the curse that had always hindered its release.

Recorded between 2015 and 2016, mastered then cancelled twice in the years that followed, it took almost 10 years for the 4 tracks that make up this EP to see the light of day.

Thanks to Zann, author of the splendid “Dusk” (LR037), for putting Rohr Sha and me in touch.

When it came to choosing what kind of techno to play, I went with tracks that mostly resonate to me, blending multiple sub-genres including deep and dub techno, with sonorities sometimes flirting with psytrance.

I aimed to create an ecstatic and immersive atmosphere, moving between intense peaks and joyful moments of release.

A 4x4 rhythm that shifts, evolves, and builds up to an explosion.

The remix he contributed to this EP is also beautifully crafted, so I hope you’ll check it out.

As always, I’ve named my tracks after flowers and plants, but this time I focused on plants that bear fruit. The EP features three tracks inspired by this theme. Recently, I’ve been particularly focused on sampling live sounds, and whenever their original frequencies naturally blend well with other elements, I try to preserve them as they are. The track Strawberry is a minimal piece built using these carefully selected sounds.
