Totally hooked on my new 5150 Block letter, really putting it through its paces in a few scenarios.

Post Processing (Parametric EQ Cutting lows, some low mids, removing some fizz nodes in the 3-5K region and a large, wide q boost at 16k to add some extra top end harmonics).

Got my hands on a 2016 JCM 800 2203X last week and have been putting it through it's paces before it gets modded within an inch of its life towards the end of this year. 

For the time being I've been loving how it sounds stock ironically, I  haven't spent a tremendous amount of time with a fully stock 800 with a chance to properly listen to and get a feel for it ever before. 

It's a little stiff under the fingers as old marshall circuits are, but it stays tight all the way through the gain range, save for maxed out (where most amps would crap out generally) and takes pedals and boosts very well. 

This clip is the main riff from C.A.S.S.P.E.R by Honeygrip (played badly) with the horizon devices precision drive straight into the marshall and then straight into GGD Zilla Cabs, with a little reverb and delay. 

Sounds killer to me

I have been utterly captivated by this song for at least 5 months now. Definitely up there in my top 10 favourite songs of all time, beautiful synth sounds and vibes from pretty much everything this guy does. I've tried to remake it as best as I could using a mix of Monark (Reaktor) and some serum sounds I made, it's sorta close but I never could nail that intro synth sound. Enjoy anyways ;) xoxo
