This work interprets the perpetual movements of human moods. We are witnessing the progression of a thought, a feeling which is constantly changing. Emotions take precedence over reason, they are supple and fluid and leave us with memories as disintegrated as we are. The beauty of man lies in his twitches. We are just blurred and faded sketches of what we would have liked to be. The result of all of these thoughts is told in those hard kicks, tortured pads, melodies, voices and breakbeat.

Radio Slave announces Rekids Special Projects ‘Actualize’ compilation and DJ mix - Part 1 will be released in January, with Part 2 to follow in February 2023.

Rekids Special Projects, the no-nonsense techno-focused sub-label of Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards’ Rekids, launched in 2017 and has since released music from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Jon Hester, and more. For the 50th release, Edwards readies ‘Actualize’, bringing acts from the wider Rekids universe into one slick collection, with the first part arriving this January alongside a DJ mix of the tracks.

“The original concept was a vinyl-only offshoot of Rekids, focusing on techno and a home for our extended family of artists. We’re now working with so many new and exciting young artists, such as Confidential Recipe and the incredible Theo Nasa, and Rekids Special Projects is a rock-solid platform to shout about good quality club-focused techno music. On the thirteenth solo release on his self-titled imprint, Berlin-based DJ/producer Amotik delivers another three tracks of the rolling, driving techno he’s been pushing for eight years. Leading the release, ‘Sattar’ brings pulsating bleeps and shimmering synths over a dark, pounding bass, while ‘Bahatar’ brings in punchy drums and soothing melodies, utilising lighter soundscapes and rumbling low-ends to guide us through this hypnotic workout. Closing out the release, ‘Tihatar’ combines shadowy stabs and dramatic synth lines that gradually build throughout the track for a tunnelling, late-night trip.

Releasing solo for years on his self-titled imprint, Amotik launched AMTK+ earlier this year to feature other artists via split EPs, releasing music by Deluka, Arthur Robert, Decka, and himself across the first two releases. With recent gigs at the likes of De School, E1, Tresor, and opening and closing sets at Berghain, Amotik has firmly cemented himself as a versatile and key player in modern Techno.

Amotik’s ‘Amotik 013’ drops on Vinyl on 30th June, followed by a digital release on 21st July 2023.

Dynamic Reflection will celebrate fifteen years of age this year, a milestone that is deserving of a proper celebration. And a proper celebration is what it will have in the form of five various artist EP’s: Liquid Solids, Quantum Realm, Infinite Oscillation, Equilibrium and Eye of Agamotto, each representing one of the five elements of nature.
This first of five releases kicks things into high gear right away. All four tracks combine fast paced rhythms with a certain funkiness and with your eyes closed, it’s hard not to think of the late 90’s and early 00’s. Don’t be surprised to hear these repetitive cuts pop up on primetime slots on a dancefloor near you these coming months.   Liquid Solids is the first part of Dynamic Reflection’s 15 year anniversary celebration: Time Crystals. This is the first of five EP’s. Own all five and an all new, visual piece of art will appear.
