Lost Records have called upon newcomer PAWSA to showcase his talents on the label’s third release.

The title track “Pilot” delivers a dose of straight up jacking grooves with infectious old school drums, precise hi-hats and growling basslines. “Pilot” introduces PAWSA’s slick productions setting the stage perfectly for the second track on the EP “The Narcissist”.

Built on similar foundations to “Pilot”, “The Narcissist” kicks off with a more stripped back soundscape, playing, sinister vocals against a low slung bass line. 
The final track of the EP “Pretty Good Debbie” is a more laid back affair the swinging hi-hats pushing the track through to a mean build up and drop.

To round off the EP the icing on the cake is a remix of “Pretty Good Debbie” from Italian legends Supernova. After a blistering 2013, Supernova bring their dark & dubby twist to the table, with key features of the original in tact cementing them into a heavier groove whilst playing off atmospheric build ups and break downs.

Finally the German Arado converts "Not after today" in to a dark passage, underground and unfriendly to sunny places that are too exposed to light. It is a remix to be enjoyed in unlikely places to dance, it is geared to be the soundtrack to less vertical things. It does this by showing the minimal side of the tune, highlighting the African soul and showing the world their mestizo and mysterious skeleton.

Finalmente el alemán Arado convierte “No after today” en un pasaje más oscuro, subterráneo y poco amigo de lugares soleados y demasiado expuestos a la luz. Es un remix para ser disfrutado en lugares poco proclives al baile, está orientado para ser la banda sonora de cosas no tan verticales. Lo logra sacando la cara más minimalera del tema, destacando su alma africana y mostrándole al mundo su esqueleto mestizo y misterioso.

B2- Yaya - No After Today (Arado Remix)

Los Pastores label -Oblack- receives -from the city of Torino- the renowned DJ and producer Yaya -one of the main ones on the German-Tunisian Loco Dice's label Desolat- to sign an EP that undoubtedly means a turning point in the history of the pastoral label par excellence; this is why it's the first colored vinyl that the Spanish label, based in Ibiza, publishes, being the artist and quality sound deserving. Besides, the payroll of the remixers is exceptional with the international Luca Bacchetti and Arado- plus, Los Pastores - being a  perfect companions in sonic adventures.

In "Not after today" Yaya brings out a mixture of sounds that makes everything it reaches taste and smell like Africa, Italy and, of course, Ibiza. The original that nominates this EP exudes an underground groove assigned to house, mediterranean, soulful and infectious, that goes in crescendo while the tunes goes on and it makes it almost irresistible on the dance floor. The tremendous percussive domain shown by Yaya in every beat and the way he works the tune until the very last sound makes what is needed for a set on the dancefloor to break this summer in Ibiza, among other fascinating places to be dancing. It will definitely be a tune in Carl Cox's sessions this summer on the white island and, of course, in the afternoons and evenings of Ushuaia, Space, Zoo Project, etc.. where Yaya plays every summer.

El sello de Los Pastores -léase Oblack-, recibe -desde la ciudad de Torino- al reputado dj y productor Yaya –uno de los principales espadas del sello Desolat del alemán-tunecino Loco Dice- para que firme un EP que, sin duda, significa un punto de inflexión en la historia del label pastoril por antonomasia; no por nada es el primer vinilo de colores que publica el sello español, radicado en Ibiza, y es que el personaje y la calidad de su sonido lo merece. Además la nómina de remixers es de excepción con los internacionales Luca Bacchetti y Arado –además de los nacionales Los Pastores- como perfectos acompañantes de andanzas sónicas.

En este “No after today” Yaya saca a relucir esa mixtura sonora que hace que todo lo que toca sepa y huela a África pasando por Italia y, por supuesto, Ibiza.
