i know , that the idea is not new at all. Duchamp worked on silence, beuys, heinrich böll, cage, ligeti and many more . i know about those things, but i think, to use silence in this context could eventually set at least a signal against the parasitism of 1%, which really block and prevent the developement of humanity and the ability of mankind , to cooperate in finding solutions for all the big challenges, we have to deal with.

Welcome to  L'ORCHESTRE DU MIDI  !

Many of you know the following story from their own experience:
 
This project was founded in 1999, when i started to use a small soundmodule, a hardware-sampler and two DAT-Recorders in order to produce multitrack-recordings of my compositions and improvisations.Even though this production-method required a very high concentration-level and didnt allow any corrections on the single tracks, it  opened up a completly new world for me, and I was  thrilled by  the new  sounds and all those  possibilities. My fantasy was driven by a special spirit, and  I had a lot of fun. A  year later, from the time when  i bought an old Atari-Computer, my home -"ORCHESTRA" now  played "MIDI"-files. Meanwhile, i had enough material to produce the first CD, and i called this production L'ORCHESTRE DU MIDI. (As if i was the conductor of an orchestra in the south of france)

On this account, you will find not only recordings  from those old days, but newer material as well.
