One of the finest songwriters America has ever seen, Bill Withers crafted this song while he was still working at the factory. Recorded for his debut album, this song was regrettably recorded and arraged according to 1971 standards, with the bass drum almost inaudible, and the arrangement code of pop and soul keeping the song to a criminal 3 minutes. This mix attempts to reverse engineer a Tom Moulton mix of a song that never had one, but deeply deserves that kind of love.

Umbo is back on Timewarp imprint with a heavy roasted nufunk EP Sunday Jam.

Grand opener is the self titled Sunday Jam feat. Goran Schmidt on the Saxophone. As the title states it is indeed a great jam funk tune to blow your minds featuring a great baseline, amazing solo saxophone and heavy funk guitars. Basement Freaks remixes and recreates a nudisco/nufunk floor-filler track while Audio InFunktion transforms the song into a well done funk breakbeat to the bone groove.

The second song Keep That Beat feat. Mila continues the journey with soulful and funky vocals from Mila. With a crazy fast clavinet and big breakbeats the song drives through the amazing baseline. Label boss Timewarp inc slows down the song with his remix by adding elegant and stylish keys and afro vibes over the original. Cayetano closes the Ep with his downtempo funk groove rework.
