Is music just nostalgia? I’ve seen Depeche Mode (and others) over 20 times and it never gets old. But . . . it also never gets new or relevant to me - where I am NOW. I believe music is missing a vibe and intimacy of when music was new (to me) but with themes targeted at someone that’s seen Depeche Mode over 20 times.

‘Ambition Is Your Friend’ is the fourth single to be taken from the upcoming twelve track album ‘Ticking Haze’ landing in March 2025. It was a firm favourite at a recent Bandcamp listening party - jangling guitars likened to R.E.M at their catchiest, soaring layered vocals, and lyrics that encourage ambition as a quality we can all chase if we choose to.
