Before I encountered AIM, I never really wandered into the art portal. There were times I checked it out mainly looking for cool landscape paintings because that is what I mostly paint myself. This time I was looking for something that sparked my imagination and this is the one I picked. I really love how the light beam from the angry moon goes outside "the box." I tried replicating that feeling in my song as well. I immediately captured the feeling I felt coming from this artwork on piano (the intro of the song.) But yeah, this is my first AIM ever, I don't know how didn't I notice it before because I've been participating NGUAC for 2 years in a row now.

lunar landscape.

This was a very fun project to work on. I just woke up one morning during sunrise (sunrise happens at like 4am in my country) So i started to make this song without thinking much and I just let express myself. I felt like avoiding some principals of ordinary music a little bit, so much so it doesn't sound like a mess. I think it sounds very colorful. It gives me the feeling flying through a field and behind you leaves a trail of colors that light up the places that sun hasn't yet landed because of the sunrise.



Effects I used for this song were a lot of Trash2, kHs Tapestop, kHs Phase distortion, Disperser, bx_stereomaker, OTT, ValhallaSupermassive, Krush, Fruity Love Philter, Fruity Convolver, Ozone 9 elements, SPAN.



Instruments I used were a sampled Addictive keys piano that i sampled from the first thing I made during that morning (i didn't like it, but i liked the sample chops i made with it), Xfer Serum, Hybrid, Spitfire Audio LABS, Mini Grand, MeowSynth, DSK mini DRUMZ 2 (Roland CR78)



I heavily processed some instruments such as Hybrid and Serum so they sound amazing. I also use serum for basic bass noises and stuff.

One of the rare occasions where I pick up the guitar to make music. I think I should do it more often.

It was very fun to create this song. Tried out cool effects such as ValhallaFreqEcho. This song gives me such vibes of nature and going outside and the culmination just makes it feel like you are flying.

This song kinda reminds me of a song I made years ago called Holding on to the Clouds

Oh! Also a really cool thing I played around was the time signatures. I think I had like 7/8 6/8 and 4/4



Stuff I used for the cloud reverie was a couple of serums, Addictive keys, FL Studio FPC drums - HQ Jazz kit, 2 different classical guitars. Splice sample library (blips, impacts, drum ride, crash, clap, bells or something, birds, rain)

For the effect plugins I used - OTT on the master ;) , Ozone 9 elements, kHs bitcrush, SPAN, ValhallaSupermassive, ValhallaFreqEcho, kHs compressor, iZotope Trash 2, ValhallaSpaceModulator, panners, gains, fruity eq lol
