It has sad tones at the beginning and end but some happier bits in the middle, as I imagined Vincent sitting outside in the sun with his paints and easel.
This piece meanders a fair bit, taking new turns before developing each new thought, perhaps like a bipolar state of mind in the artist, but if you listen carefully there's a theme that repeats throughout the work. In Van Gogh-coda, the sequel to this piece, the score is well structured and "makes sense", perhaps reflecting Vincent's state of mind when he is well.

It`s Been a While...

◾️"Memories, Changes & rebirth" is a deeply emotional composition. Nostalgia and sentimental reminiscences.
Each note seems to resonate with the weight of memories, while softer moments give way to powerful passages, marking the waves of emotions that invade the soul.

In the background, a subtle synthetic layer envelops the piano, creating an ethereal and immersive atmosphere, almost like a distant echo of past emotions.
An introspective journey, where melancholy and hope meet.

GOD inspired this song for the new "Jesus in the volume of the book" curriculum in which we would revisit the major stories and characters of.the bible in light of their revealing of the great I AM our Lord and savior Christ Jesus.

My father, Bishop Milton E. Rochford taught me to play my first jingle on the piano at 7 years old. After a little schooling I developed my ear by sitting under some of my mentor's; professor Benny Cummings, Willard Meek’s (aka: golden fingers) and my good friend Pastor Donnie McClurkin, just to name a few. Pastor Mark Reddick taught me my first song, "God has smiled on me" by James Cleveland. Music is my obsession, second only to my joy of studying God’s word. The Word, undergirding my music provides heavenly melodic medicine. Take your daily medication! To God be all the glory!
