Himself

DJ/Producer/Rapper/Singer/Pianist/Mixing engineer, born in Paris;  Lord Nyami reaps musical inspirations from the places he's lived in. From the groovy Zimbabwean rhythms, the French Touch (Paris, France), Berlin's sacred techno (Berlin, Germany) and Vietnam's high pitched, tense sounds (Hanoi, Vietnam).  Without forgetting the Hip-Hop scene resting at the core of his identity.

His influences vary from techno artists like Dole & Kom (his mentors in Berlin), Paul Kalkbrenner, Para One, Brodinksi; Blue & Jazz artists (Charlie Parker, Chet Baker, Oscar Petterson, Ray Charles...), Hip-Hop (Lil wayne, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Eminem, T.I, Damso..)

In 2016, he released his first E.P "Planet of the Monkeys", inviting the listener into a world of electronic/ambient music with a tinge of melancholy. 
In 2017, he released a funky/nu-disco track "Dreams" which now reaches more than 60K plays on soundcloud. 

After Djing from 2017-2020 at local events and at the Savage Club (Hanoi, Vietnam), he returned to music production. 

In 2021, Lord Nyami will be releasing "Brain Fuck" , an E.P consisting of 4 tracks with a groovy feeling and an much more advanced groove pattern/sound production than his first releases.
