We now find that they have crossed over into the magical and mystical lands of our great elders and of the many ancient myths of aeons long past.

They find that they have much work and many great tasks at hand to do now, the greatest ever known; and that they must at last rise up to take eternal charge and command.

We will not be seeing them here in this life anymore, but we will join them at their side in the battles soon to come, when it is our calling to do so.

They wait, they ride, they are life eternal. They will return to us when they have to, when they need to, when they want to, and when it is right for them…

‘Kingfish’ is a song that is kind of meant to be from a more metal-headed point of view; one that I have shared literally all throughout my life.

Thus, it is still very much a part of our journey through the anguish of loss and grief, nevertheless. 

However, now, the light at the end of the tunnel is becoming clearer and brighter, and painful new changes of paths and pace are perceived intuitively as approaching and almost within view.

I have been wishing all along for the journey to lead back to before it all happened. Sadly, it can never be so.

"Ourobouros" (‘…represents the infinite cycle of nature's endless creation and destruction, life and death…’)

‘Ouroboros’ is a song I began to compose long before any of the other tracks came to fruition, and long before the tragedy that came to happen.

I chose to complete it at this time, as I wanted to force express something a bit more positive to add along to the mix with the first two tracks I’ve composed thus far at this point on the ‘Songwerks-B (eP)’. 

It's meaning is intended to representative of a beacon of shining light that will hopefully appear within our time of utmost loss and grief. One that helps guide us to a better vantage point within all of our emotional crisis and subsequent day to day journeys through the intense depression that we inevitably endure when we grieve.

‘Silver’ is a song about hope intertwined with loss.

It is a further exploration of my feelings after having previously and unexpectedly composing the previous track, ‘Stylus’ upon learning of the possible impending loss of a loved one and member of my family.

This is also a song of great lament, grief and of mourning; but it is also one with a burgeoning hope that we all will find our way, eventually; no matter how lost we may ever be or feel that we are on the paths that we have chosen for ourselves.

"Vertere stilum" (‘to erase, and hence to correct')

‘Stylus’ is the first song I've written and completed in a long time and was the initial catalyst and inspiration for putting together the ‘Songwerks-B (eP)’ that it is a part of, once it had been produced.

It came together rather eerily, unnaturally, and unexpected as a sort of expression and result of how I felt after learning of the circumstances–at the time–of the possible impending loss of a loved one and member of my family.

It is a song of unexpected grief, bereavement, and of mourning.
