Hvitling - Maya EP The Maya EP from Hvitling is a tribute from the creator dedicated to the birth of his daughter. Throughout three Songs he talks about the feeling to become and be a dad. Its a story about the beautiful happening of being and was created with the raised heartbeat of a loving father. Every new life that comes to our world is unique and a special event for everyone involved. A new life is like a new star like a new sun is born. The difference is that we will never know where it goes next. Also, on board are Feinheitsbrei, Glenn Shaw, Decalculator, dit:eau & ÜNAM as Remixers. Our musical journey continues and opens this year's chapter with the new single "Orka en Amazonia" by Mayanáay, accompanied by a remix of Glenn Shaw. We are proud to welcome these two brilliant producers to our monad circle.

Mayanáay is the snail alias of Sam Fearon, náay means "DREAM" in the Mayan Kʼicheʼ language. Sam was born in the Mesoamerican Maya region, surrounded by a variety of landscapes, sounds and instruments. His productions are a combination of deeply pulsating drums, progressive rhythms, and hypnotic layers; he does not adhere to a specific genre, but navigates through a slower or faster tempo, aiming to evoke a náay state of mind.

Glenn has created a vivid interpretation of the Orginal to perfection, giving it a dirty twist with heavy basslines and freaky, driving synths.

Tabula Rasa, Blank Slate from Obsqure is a Trip-hop / Down-tempo album created with both modern and oriental various instruments.
In terms of sound, the artist invites us on a sonic journey with a weird, disturbing and oriental atmosphere.
On a traditional altogether building , the album starts quietly with just enough sophistication with "Hijaz" to install an oriental atmosphere with an Eastern electro-jazz accents. The first three tracks elapsed, the compositions are gaining depth and pleasure grows. "Hijaz" and "Rabbath" beautifully introduce "Cloud Chaser", the summit of this album, the track that could definitely be on a compilation somewhere between Massive Attack and Archive without having to blush at the comparison. Ungeahnt vielschichtig mit seinem debutalbum “frères” zeigt der zürcher musiker und produzent Nicola Noir erneut, dass elektronische alben nicht eintönig sein müssen. Ob wave disco, jazzig bis hin zu rockigen elementen ist alles im neuenalbum enthalten - nach der einzigen regel, dass es keine regeln geben soll. seine inspiration sammelt er an unterschiedlichsten orten. so wurde er zum beispiel für seinen song „la grande bellezza“ von paolo sorrentinos gleichnamigen arthouse meisterwerk beeinflusst.

Egal, woher Nicola Noir seine inspiration holt, in jedem einzelnen stück ist seine eigenwillige und deepe handschrift klar erkennbar. die rhythmen des jungen künstlers führen direkt in aufregend schwebende zustände wie im stück „cysero“ oder in treibend erdige beats wie bei „wolfes“.

Auffallend ist, dass jeder track eine ganz eigene geschichte erzählt und sich gleichzeitig davor scheut, einen rein kommerziellen clubhit zu erzeugen. so eignen sich die stücke perfekt für das intro und outro eines vielschichtigen und verrückten sets.

Incredibly complex with his debut album "frères" the Zurich based musician and producer Nicola Noir shows that electronic LP’s don't have to be monotonous. whether wave disco, jazzy up to to rock elements, everything is included in the new album - no rules is the rule. noir collects his inspiration at various locations. the song "la grande bellezza" for example was inspired by paolo sorrentino's arthouse masterpiece of the same name. no matter where nicola noir gets his inspiration from, in every single piece his unconventional and deep handwriting is clearly recognizable. 

The rhythms of the young artist lead directly into excitingly floating states as in the track "cysero" or in impulsive earthy beats like "wolves"
it is noticeable that each track tells a story of its own and at is not to create a purely commercial club hit at the same time. the pieces are perfect for intros and outros of multi-layered and crazy sets.
