Recorded birds, water, cracking doors, radio frequencies with modules, recorded a bunch or weird sounds in the hotel room kitchenette because half of the time I was on travel. I used very old recordings from my past launch life.
I used on my intro the UN greetings message from the NASA space probe Voyager “Golden Record” launched in 1977 - a time capsule for potential extraterrestrial civilizations - AND used InSight’s recorded Martian Impact and Mars’s wind sounds - the first outer space robotic explorer to study the deep interior of Mars.

Hurdslenk, aka Rich Griffin, was first introduced to electronic music in the late ’90s and early 2000s. As an avid clubber, he had the opportunity to experience some of the UK’s most iconic techno institutions.

In 2017, he began a journey into music production. Drawing from his personal influences and adopting a hardware-focused approach, he has developed a distinctive sound—marked by distorted percussion, gritty textures, and relentless rhythms.

His work has since been released on respected labels including Key Vinyl, Hardgroove, Out of Place, Frenzy, Vault Records, and V32.
