Détends-Toi is the debut EP of the Parisian-born, Berlin-based singer & DJ Stella Zekri. 
Produced and co-written by Ed Longo, Détends-Toi is a sunny collection of four original songs, one dub version and one special cover, heavily influenced by Zouk, Boogie and the sound of the mid-80s French underground. Coming to you in advance of summer ‘22 the record marks also the first release of Berlin label Cosmic Romance.

The platform stretched far into the distance, the concrete only partially lit by the dim glow of the lamps. A handful of people dotted along its expanse, all waiting patiently for the train to arrive. Just a few minutes before midnight the chugging engine could be heard nearing the station; at exactly midnight it pulled in. In 70 years it had never been late. The passengers climbed aboard in silence, and with a blow of the whistle they sailed off into the darkness.

Orange Tree Edits are known purveyors of quality reworks. Since their beginnings five years ago, founder Jimmy Rouge and a stellar cast of fellow edit masters, including Jonny Rock, Moving Still, Hysteric and Good Block, have breathed new life into old finds and forgotten gems. Musically it ranges, but generally it's made with either the intent of getting your feet moving or soundtracking time spent lounging at home. There's Afro, disco, Balearic, new wave and synth-pop, which are some of the sonics that head honcho Jimmy gets stuck into on his return to the label after three years.

Ahead of their Love Without Illusion album, Pleasure Pool release the title track as a digital single along with a dub version which is exclusive to this release. Love Without Illusion is a highlight of any Pleasure Pool live sets and while it is not a cover version, it does channel the vibrations of Imagination’s classic 80’s hit Just An Illusion. 100% hypno deepness for both club and non club use.

Born out of a shared obsession for crate digging, collecting, and the playing of weird and wonderful music, their releases so far have manifested in a highly-sought series of psychedelic disco 12”s. 

OMDD presents their first ever digital release fusing the sounds of early 1980s Downtown New York with 21st Century beats and massive Dub DNA injections. 

They say: "No longer in our Belfast studio, wedged between the everyday mundane. We are in the ‘down town’ New York bar that lives inside our mind. Gathered with people of the night, getting drunk and getting high, anything feels possible, yet all in good time. 

Drums roll, the bartender cranks the volume up, as the sax begins to play. Time pointing towards morning, yet people want to stay.

In 1983 Baltimore's Chuck Parsons took "The Saint" by storm with his eclectic, modern track selection and his smooth mixing style. In fact he played most of the big parties that year. Parsons became eponymous for the classic period of "The Saint", when the venue and its DJs shaped Dance Music globally. His influence on today's DJing and mordern club music is still totally undervalued!
