A Memory of Time is a breakthrough record in Americana, by new artist Loren Haynes. The album was conceived as a musical and songwriting narrative of the trials and tribulations of living. The lyrics weave stories of the loves and friends lost, questions of directions and choices, repercussions of being sent to war, and the struggle of of ones life in choices and being held back by fear and love. But, always looking forward and finding the strength to push past our fears and destructive loves. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel with the characters in the songs, as they face what they are running from. The music is alive, energetic and foot stomping. Loren Haynes' vocals sound like it begins in the center of the earth, and berths emotion from the heart of man. The Pinon Band brings together a gifted groups of musicians, who recorded the record live and sound like they have played together for years, Brian Haas, also from the Jazz /New Orleans fusion quartet "Nolatet" "arranged and beat  his piano, Arne Bey, killing it on Drums, Matthew Vaughn, gifted on Violin and Viola, Alexander Thomas McMahon on peddle steel and guitar, Bill Palmer co-producing and on guitars and other atmospheric sounds when needed, Justin Branford on stand up and electric bass, Manny Rivera, on Saxophones, Stepping on back up and featured vocals, Stephanie Hatfield, in between recording her new Record "Traces".  Kenny Poe on B3 Organ, and Loren Haynes songwriter,  guitar and vocals. Co- produced by Bill Palmer & Loren Haynes, Engineered by Bill Palmer. Recorded at Frogville Studios, in Santa Fe, NM. Loren began his professional creative career in the theatre of New York, after deciding between  fronting rock band or acting in theatre.  He gave his first public stage performance, in the historical church that is “The Actors Studio”, in the production of Julius Caesar”\ His Broadway debut was in the production of MANNY, in which he co-starred.  
Loren moved to Los Angeles and began to work in film and television. . He also continued playing music and writing songs when inspired by relationships breaking up, pet passing away, injustices he observed or people standing up against them. He first performed and recorded that music under the name Ashton Jones. His music his film and photography as all been recognized and awarded. He new full album release is his first. Nothing touched me as deep as my songwriting. "I stopped myself at 18 because there a  music guy form our neighborhood playing music to the world; Bruce Springsteen. That was a tough act to follow. But, here I am !"
