JTRP is Jorge Takei & Phillip Morris from Cologne. They have started with 2 bass heavy releases on T. William's Deep Teknologi Imprint, followed by several sidekicks in Belgium, UK and finally on Beef records. Their debut four-tracker on Beef is oscillating somewhere between raw acid house and ghetto techno. Ready for immediate club use! On the remix duties we got Glenn Astro - heavyweight jock and producer from K7!, Tartelet records and Kolour LTD.

Sometimes the stars just align. The mystery that is Guydee just happened to us at Lagaffe Tales and we had to react. Guydee, a young ambitious producer delivers a bomb of a debut EP with remixes from one of our favourite producers Thorsteinsson and a raw analog remix from Tsktch. We can’t pick a favourite on this one and if we did, it would change everyday. Tales 017 promises great follow up to our earlier releases and we hope we can continue our journey with each release topping the last one.

Our first release of the year 2016 is in the hands of the exciting Vienna based producer Moony Me. Fountain Grooves is a two track EP based on great sample work which seems to be what Moony Me is all about. Both tracks, Pt.1 and Pt.2 hit the spot for us and we hope they hit it with you aswell.

This year we have reached our long-term goal as a label which was to expand our releases into the wax department. We feel like we’ve done a good job bringing upcoming and original local talent to the surface so far and it is only fitting that our first vinyl release is done by the Icelandic duo https://soundcloud.com/davidhjalti. The duo has been busy with the production since their arrival from Manchester and have played a number of great live sets underlining their skills as producers. We feel that this release is the high standard we set ourselves before going vinyl and that this is just a small first step in a fruitful beginning for the producers David & Hjalti. The release features four excellent tracks which showcases terrific sampling work.
