She's made this special mix for the next edition of Dig Deep, RA's pop-up charity record fair, which is taking place at Hope House in Leeds on Saturday, April 5th, in partnership with Cosmic Slop.

From Batu & Nick León and TYGAPAW to Marcel Dettmann and DJ Plead & rRoxymore, this hour-long mix is made up of records that have been donated to Dig Deep. Get down to the event to nab some of your favourites and raise money for War Child and MAP.

This one’s special! It's actually my first original release. It’s called Renity, and it's a blend of Afro, Baile, and a touch of Ballroom energy. Really excited to finally put this out into the world.

Club music has also had a comfortable relationship with the pop world with radio hits being mangled by underground producers and themes and imagery being sniped from above by creative agencies. Lorenzo BITW has made that paradigm irrelevant on his latest single, turning in a major, Summer-ready hit straight from the underground. Assisted by Ghanaian MC and singer Nawtyboi Tattoo (previous work with Slimdrumz and Gafacci), “Hello” is an afro beat love fest, all yearning vocals and sensual come ons, arranged flawlessly over Lorenzo’s sonorous keys and insatiable bass line. London’s @mrmitchmusic (Planet Mu, Boxed) provides a fittingly low slung remix on the b-side, flipping afro beat into lounge house. Think Mr. Eazi meets Al Green. The package is out on March 14 and will be followed by Lorenzo’s debut album.
