We are very proud to present you our new compilation called “Club Tribute Vol. 2”.

Almost two years after the first volume, a simple idea came to our minds : celebrating club culture through its diversity. As the first volume did, but this time going a little bit further than before : the spectrum of genres and approaches towards club music is here completely expanded, and shows above all that what is commonly qualify as “club sounds” covers in fact many different ways of thinking. Some with experimental takes on it, some others strictly made for the dance, some blending different styles, some with vocals, some rough, some soft, but all with a common point : inspired in some way by the club and its history, its evolutions, its spirit.

10 tracks (ranging from original ones, blends and edits) by 10 completely different artists, with different backgrounds, different locations and different musical careers that we really wanted to bring together through this project.

Mon lecteur ZIP à eu un soucis, et j'ai du composer avec seulement quelques samples que j'avais mis sur ma dernière disquette en vie le temps d'en recommander un neuf sur le web. Par chance je venais juste de récupérer un pack de sample de bruitages de cartoons en tout genre et il restait sur mon disque des samples de percussions, basses et divers effets...

Mon poto Looofi avait réalisé il y'a quelques temps ce super visuel et j'ai donc imaginé ces 4 morceaux pour coller à l’esthétique du dessin :)

Explication :
"Je travaille uniquement avec une MPC 2000XL et je dois charger mes samples à l'aide d'un lecteur ZIP. Je n'utilise pas de logiciels 'DAW' pour mes productions. Les morceaux sont enregistrés 'live' grâce à la fonction 'TRACK MUTE' et je rajoute ensuite quelques sons, nappes et effets avec Audacity"
