With releases on Mood Child, Sola, MOXY MUZIK and more, Italian-born Side B has emerged as a talented name representing his nation's vibrant electronic scene, earning support from heavyweights like The Martinez Brothers, Skream and Cloonee with his punchy and powerful sound. Following last year’s label debut on Jamie Jones’ imprint with the collaborative hit ‘Vibrate’ alongside Samuele Scelfo, he now makes a solo return to Hottrax, presenting the groove-packed three-tracker ‘Feel It.’ 

Warping sonics charge through ‘She Feel It’, where trippy synths and thudding low-ends mirror the high-energy vibe of the dancefloor. ‘Kick and Back’ rides a simple yet impactful groove, driven by deep, wobbling bass tones a vibrating beats, oozing late-night charm. Closing out the EP, ‘Offsound’ unfolds with an analog bassline that lends t track an unmistakable acid vibe, while squelchy textures pull you deeper into its immersive depths.

Liverpool-based DJ, producer, and Latido Records boss Basso makes his debut on Spanish underground imprint Aparenzza Music this April with his latest release, the ‘Pretty Boy’ EP. Known for his knack for deep, percussive grooves and infectious vocal cuts, Basso delivers two original productions, with a high-energy remix from fellow Liverpool talent Oncho. 

Title track ‘Pretty Boy’ is a bold, groove-laden roller, fuelled by chunky drums, swinging rhythms, and deep, elongated bass notes. A distinctive hooky rap vocal keeps the momentum tight, injecting attitude and club energy into the mix. 

Oncho steps in for a punchy, uptempo rework, pushing the original into rolling, percussive territory with atmospheric builds and fluid transitions, keeping the floor locked in from start to finish. 

Basso rounds off the EP with ‘I Don’t Care’, a moody, character-driven cut built around a soulful vocal hook and textured, stripped-back grooves. Subtle yet commanding, it’s a testament to his ability to craft dancefloor weapons with a unique, expressive edge. 

Set for release on Aparenzza Music in April 2025, the ‘Pretty Boy’ EP marks another milestone for Basso as he continues to make waves in the underground scene.
