'Music on Christmas Morning' by Jessica Tasker

The Music Programme at Loreto College is the extensive line-up of extra-curricular music activities that take place here. Nearly 200 students participate in over 40 different ensembles and groups, from Loreto Symphony Orchestra to Barbershop Group, and from Chamber Choir to E&K Records. Loreto's different groups and soloists perform annually at prominent venues such as RNCM, Manchester Town Hall & Halle St Peter's. There are also two prestigious competitions; the Loreto Composition Prize and the St Celia Concerto Competition.
