The song is about my passion to let what I've learned from God flow into others, most especially through my singing. It's also about what I've learned recently in church worship services about where I focus my energy. Some focus theirs on raising their hands to God; I realize that I focus all of mine in giving my best voice to God.

I don't live to sing. Singing is not who I am. I live for Christ and I am a sinner that he died for. I sing for Christ and all that he is to me and all that he's done for me. I mess up a lot, as any sinner, and that's what a lot of my songs are about:  wallowing in my faults and then reminding myself of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I seek to share the hope that he's given me and to make my songs a pleasant sacrifice to him.
