Steady Heart

“Walk Away” is about a broken relationship. It’s the point in time when you know, you can’t keep waiting on something that’s not going to come to be, no matter how much you wanted it to. It’s the moment of acceptance of what is - and being able to walk away. I felt like it had a kind of Springsteen vibe to it and the band captured it the way I initially wrote it, right from the get-go.

Killing Me Softly With His Song

Best known for “Killing Me Softly” , Lori Lieberman has just completed her 19th album, “Truly", engineered by Bob Clearmountain, and co-produced with Matt Rollings. Recorded live at Clearmountain's studio, Apogee Digital.  A nod to the American Songbook, this album is a departure for Lieberman, and has been received with much acclaim. Having performed twice to sold-out audiences at Carnegie Hall, Lieberman will be performing at NY's Cutting Room on Oct. 20th, with more info on her website.
