I learned this bothy song from wonderful singer Anne Neilson. Not only does she have an absolute treasure trove of Scots songs, ballads and stories but she's the reason I was first able to sing solo in public. 

It's set to the melody from Rigs o Rye, which my dad (Sandy Watson) sang to us when we were young: it's a melody I've always loved. 

This version features John Somerville on accordion and Kris Drever on harmony vocals.
