Hibotep is a DJ, Musician, Fashion designer, Installation artist, Filmmaker, Nomad and Rebel. She is a polymath and among the new generation of subversive creatives in Kampala creating change with her heartfelt and brave output. Apart from being a regular fixture at the city’s underground clubs and annual Nyege Nyege festival, she has also played at some of Europe’s biggest Festivals like Sonar and Roskilde among others.

Dj et producteur parisien, k1000 a cofondé @bavardages_, un jeune label imaginé par quatre amis d’enfance naviguant entre le monde de la Nuit et le monde de l’Art. Bavardages tente de repenser notre rapport à la musique en proposant des performances libres de toute appartenance à un genre. Pour cela, ils s’aident des couleurs et construisent leurs dj sets et leurs productions en alliant puissance du rouge, profondeur du bleu et sérénité du vert afin de naviguer parmi toutes les palettes musicales possibles.

En passant par la drum&bass, le breakbeat, la jersey club ou encore la dubstep, k1000 tire ses principales inspirations dans le rap et ses dérivés. Avec une énergie extravagante, il propose des sets décomplexés remplis de mélange de genres et d’époques musicales afin de permettre à un large public de se sentir invité à danser et à se lâcher avec lui.
