About 5 years ago T-Pain had a contest where he released a song with him doing the chorus and said anyone could make a song with it and upload it and the one who got voted the highest would get some kind of sign-on deal.  Well I did 3 verses but when I went to enter the contest they changed the day to one day earlier so I missed the contest entry date.  Might as-well let everyone hear my version of a song that I never heard hit the radio.

First heard this beat by KillingSpree(www.youtube.com/user/Ichigekikai) last year, and I wanted to hear it again so when I finally let it into my ears a sudden surge of inspiration hit me to throw some lyrics down, it's short, lyrics start at the 1:10 mark and I felt they were worth listening to, so here it is.

The first version's lyrics were drowned out this one should be better.

In 2005, 'A Street Called Cates' was made with 2 verses.  In 2009 a remix to that simply called 'Street Called Cates' with 1 brand new verse and an overhaul to the original beat.  Now, in 2015 with a little tweaking and a bit more work, 'Street Called Cates Definitive' is being worked on.  This time hopefully it gets finished.
