HOW TO MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS CRUMBLE VIDEO - IMPORTANT READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!

1) GET CHRISTMASSY!!
Get together in a group of at least 4 of you (honestly we don't mind as long as it's bright and cheerful) but the more the merrier! Crack out your best Christmas jumpers, hats, reindeer antlers, sparkly outfits and decorations. 

2) CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION
What would you like to see? People dancing in Santas grotto or a bare room? Choose your location. A back garden decorated with fairy lights and tinsel, a local park or outside a local landmark would also be great! 

3) LEARN THE DANCE ROUTINE
It's quick and easy to learn. Watch the video on Youtube

You can do it in a circle or in a line/square formation…

4) GET STEADY!!
What works for us is footage that is really still. If you have a tripod then FANTASTIC! If not then a steady hand! If the footage is too shaky we won't be able to use it! 
LANDSCAPE (sideways) should be used if you are filming from your phone.

5) REHEARSE
We don't want you all falling over (although that could be comedy). Rehearse so you know what you are doing. 

6) FILM
You are ready to go! The more fun you are having making it, the more fun everyone will have watching it! Don't forget to press record! 

7) SEND!!! 
Post your clip to Youtube OR if it's just a bit of footage up to about 8/10MB (and that's good)then send it via the email.  We will use a clip of just a couple of lines so it doesn't have to be the whole thing!
SEND BY SUNDAY 15th NOVEMBER 6pm AT THE LATEST and let me know it’s there!

Take Time is a beautiful song from Lorraine Bowen's fifth album, SUBURBAN EXOTICA.  
Lorraine originally wrote it for a children's choir but has since become a solo song.  She arranged it for a latin group with children's voices in the background.

Hommage to Sheffield in Essex and beyond!  I recorded the lady announcer at Shenfield Station and put it on this track with some casio organs and a few samples knocking around.  It's a nod to lo-fi  house music ! A big favourite of Captain Sensible's and other train enthusiasts plus anyone who knows the Shenfield line.  Unfortunately the lady who read the lists isn't there anymore as it's been mechanised...

I'm a big casio organ fan and have a big retro collection in my loft.
