A quick live demo of a song written in 2008 for a special someone (original take: https://soundcloud.com/los-palindromas/etmm-ilyhatcyw-2008 ), no vox unfortunately. Equipment used: Lead chords was done with a Microkorg, bassline was an Elektron Sidstation layered with a DSI Mopho. Drums were made with E-Phonic Drumatic 3, no homo, final version will have TR-606 &amp; 626 drums and a noise gate for that loud-ass Sidstation. And YES I am aware that the chord progression is more than similar to Pet Shop Boys' version of "Always on my mind" but I figured that out like a year after I had written this song so...

Swedish artist and songwriter Dolly Dolores latest single “Dream” is a heart felt and timeless anthem to persuade young people to follow their dreams before the cynicism of adulthood sucks the joy out of their lives. Sonically the music is inspired by lofi indie and classic soul and doo wop. The song is filled with unconventional instruments such as the Omnichord and a classical Ondes martenot synth. “Dream” will have it’s release on the 12th of February 2021.


With "Dream" Dolly Dolores is back after six years of silence following her previous success in both Swedish radio and television with the song "På måndag börjar jag igen" where she collaborated with musicians from other great Swedish acts such as The Ark, The Cardigans, Damn! And Eggstone.

The new material is the result of deep soul searching and inspired by her failures due to her being a millennial and therefore not having enough ambition or work ethic to complete anything.

Dolly Dolores is in the process of completing a new album that will be released in the fall. With the new music Dolly Dolores creates her own skew and distorted sonical world where themes such as inadequacy and love are central.

"Dream" is recorded in Hurfva Gramophone studios and produced by Christopher Dominique (Bob Hund, Eggstone, Ola Salo) and released on indie label Domp Records.
